Beth Sellars has served as curator of Suyama Space since she co-founded the gallery with George Suyama in 1998. Working as a museum curator in the Pacific Northwest since 1975, she has also managed the City of Seattle's 3000+ art collection since 1998. Under her stewardship, Suyama Space has shown artists of national and international reputation in site-specific format, often in collaboration with local organizations. Extensive media coverage of programming has lauded Suyama Space as one of the Northwest pre-eminent contemporary art spaces.
