MIGRATION
Stephen B. Nguyen
24 May – 06 August 2010

Stephen B. Nguyen’s Migration is a large-scale installation work that implies a flight line of a flock of birds through Suyama Space. The viewers will follow the flight line as they enter and walk through the gallery. The contrived evidence will suggest that the birds have flown in or through the windows or doors, through a center wall, and finally into, but not through a second wall, leaving holes and imprints of bird shaped residue.

Migration is made possible through funding from 4Culture/King County Lodging Tax Fund, the City of Seattle Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs, the Suyama Space Friends and was curated by Beth Sellars in partnership with Space.City. Artist support is made possible in part by a grant from the Pollock Krasner Foundation.
